Fix Trademark Policy Disapproval

Ads restricted or disapproved for using a trademarked term in ad text.

Impact Assessment

Ads may not show in certain regions or at all.

Why This Happened

Using a competitor's name or a protected brand term in your Headline or Description.

Prevention

Check local trademark laws. Use general descriptive terms instead of brand names.

How to Fix This Issue

1

**Remove the Term**: Rewrite the ad copy to remove the trademarked word.

2

**Request Authorization**: If you are a reseller, ask the trademark owner to file an authorization form with Google for your Account ID.

3

**Use in Display URL**: Trademarks are generally allowed in Display URLs, just not ad text.
