Text ads are boring. Microsoft knows this. That is why they launched Multimedia Ads. These are large, visual ads that appear on the right side of the SERP (Search Engine Results Page) or in the mainline.

Why they work

  1. Exclusivity: Only one Multimedia Ad can appear per page. If you win the auction, you own the sidebar.
  2. Visuals: They combine images, headlines, and descriptions. They look like a display ad but trigger on search intent.
  3. Low Competition: Most advertisers are lazy. They just import text ads from Google. They don't set up Multimedia Ads. This means cheap clicks for you.

How to creates them

  1. Go to Ads → Create Ad → Multimedia Ad.
  2. Images: Upload a 1.91:1 (Landscape) and 1:1 (Square) image.
  3. Copy: Use your best performing headlines from your text ads.
  4. Call to Action: Add a button (e.g., "Shop Now").
